CoJMC junior LeAnne Bugay is finishing up her last week as a New Student Enrollment (NSE) leader at Nebraska. Last semester the advertising and public relations and journalism double major had a news and public relations internship with UNL’s newsroom Nebraska Today.

We had a wonderful turnout for our KRNU 50th Anniversary Party. Alumnus and DJ D-Wayne and live music from The Garage Band, featuring Emeritus Professor Jerry Renaud, kept us rocking throughout the evening. We even had a specialty drink called The Red Phone to remind us of our Avery Hall days! National Broadcasting Society receives Model Chapter Award

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s National Broadcasting Society (NBS) chapter received the 2021 Model Chapter Award from the National Electronic Media Association for finding a way to safely stay active in NBS during one of the heights of the pandemic.
