The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s undergraduate student scholarship application is open. Students have until Feb. 1, 2022, to apply for both College and University scholarships in MyRed.

Everding awarded a Hitchcock Fellowship

Mia Everding, a master’s student specializing in professional journalism in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications, was awarded a Hitchcock Fellowship on Nov. 17.

CoJMC earns recognition at the PRSA Nebraska Paper Anvil Awards

Two student groups from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications, Jacht Agency and the UNL Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), earned 10 awards on Dec. 2 at the Public Relations Society of Nebraska (PRSA) Paper Anvil Awards.

UNL’s 2022 Bateman Competition Team announced

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications has selected six students for UNL’s 2022 Bateman Case Study Competition team. The Bateman Case Study Competition is a national case study competition, hosted by the Public Relations Student Society of America, for public relations students.

Arielle Wiedenbeck speaks at Public Relations Society of America’s ICON Conference

Arielle Wiedenbeck graduated from the College of Journalism and Mass Communications in May 2021. While at Andersen Hall she studied advertising and public relations and political science. She was also the creative director for 2020-2021 UNL Public Relations Students Society of America Bateman Team. The team won second place in the national competition with their project “The Civility Effect”.

Omaha Press Club honors 2021 winners
