Experience Lab announces spring 2023 student leaders

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications has announced student leaders for the spring 2023 semester Experience Lab program. More than 120 students are participating in CoJMC’s Experience Lab, an experiential learning program that gives students the chance to gain hands-on experiences from day one.

Thirty-three students attend national data journalism conference

Thirty-three students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's College of Journalism and Mass Communications recently attended NICAR, an annual data journalism conference hosted by the Investigative Reporters and Editors organization. This year’s conference was in Nashville, Tennessee, from March 1-5.

Three advertising students selected as Clifton Strengths Institute coaches

Three students in the CoJMC were chosen as Clifton Strengths Institute coaches for the 2023-2024 academic year. They will join 35 undergraduate students from 14 different majors across campus, along with the returning coaches, to mentor about 1,000 students enrolled in a College of Business class, Professional Enhancement I: Investing in Strengths.
