UNL Documentary "Running Towards the Fire" Wins Grand Prize at Marina del Ray Film Festival

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln proudly announces that "Running Towards the Fire – A War Correspondent's Story" was awarded the Grand Prize for best TV documentary at the Marina del Rey Film Festival on June 27. Gilbert and Martha Hitchcock Professor of Journalism Barney McCoy directed the film.

Annual Welcome Night Now Backyard BBQ

The College of Journalism and Mass Communications will celebrate the start of another great year with a Backyard Barbeque on Tuesday, Aug. 25 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend. There will be FREE food, prizes and music by the Bathtub Dogs.
