CoJMC public relations' students participate in The Bateman Competition

Public relations students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will be competing for the first time against colleges across the nation to develop and present a comprehensive public relations campaign in the Bateman Competition. The Public Relations Student Society of America sponsors the annual case study competition.

Jacht Ad Lab welcomes new crew for Spring 2015

Jacht Ad Lab announced 26 students selected for the spring 2015 crew. Jacht gives University of Nebraska–Lincoln students the opportunity to run all aspects of an ad agency with the mentorship and support from Nebraska Global and local ad agencies Bailey Lauerman and Swanson Russell.

Monica Blaser receives Hitchcock Fellowship

Monica Blaser of Papillion has been awarded the Gilbert M. and Martha H. Hitchcock Fellowship. Blaser will receive a cash award of $2,400 to support her research for her master’s thesis and graduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Journalism professor Gary Kebbel to teach in Nigeria

Jan 5 2015 - 6:00pm

Gary Kebbel will teach in Nigeria for two weeks in January as a consultant for the U.S. State Department. He will conduct training sessions for 50 reporters in the northern city of Kaduna and 30 media executives in the southern coastal city of Lagos.
