CoJMC wins at American Advertising Awards competition

The College of Journalism and Mass Communications announced it won a special judge's citation, Gold ADDY, and five Silver ADDYs at the American Advertising Awards competition held Feb. 21 in Lincoln. The AAF Lincoln and Omaha chapters sponsor the local competition.

Bruce Thorson to teach in Indonesia

The U.S. Embassy Jakarta has invited Bruce Thorson, associate professor of journalism, to teach in Indonesia for two weeks in March. He will train students and early career journalists in photojournalism and multimedia, and how to develop sources, fact check and improve storytelling skills.
