CoJMC investing in esports arena to be built in Nebraska Union

The College of Journalism and Mass Communications, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, announced their plans to invest in an official esports team on Feb. 21. Not only will there be a full-fledged team by the beginning of the fall 2023 semester, there will also be an esports arena going in the Nebraska Union.

Alumni Spotlight: Lindsey Wilkinson

When Lindsey Hahn Wilkinson graduated from CoJMC with a broadcasting degree in 2004 she commissioned into the U.S. Air Force as a second lieutenant and public affairs officer. In her 18 years in the military she’s served on active duty, in the reserve, as a supervisory government civilian and for the last 3 years (and counting) she’s worked for the U.S. Air Force Air Mobility Command, first as deputy director and now as the director of public affairs.

Experience Lab announces spring 2023 student leaders

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications has announced student leaders for the spring 2023 semester Experience Lab program. More than 120 students are participating in CoJMC’s Experience Lab, an experiential learning program that gives students the chance to gain hands-on experiences from day one.
