Bender takes honors seminar to Washington, D.C.

Professor John Bender took 13 students to Washington, D.C., to learn about the importance of freedom of expression. This trip functioned as the conclusion to the fall semester honors seminar “Freedom of Expression” that is offered through the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

Wooldridge advances in Hearst competition, two students receive certificates of merit

The students and their positions are: Aidan Connolly (data reporter), Becca Mann (reporter), Calla Cassler (photographer), Emmie McMinn (online reporter) and Marcella Mercer (reporter).

Jennifer Brinkman won the 2016 County Commissioner–District 2 election with a campaign focused on economic development, expanding access to health and safety services in the county, and creating a task force to address aging roads and bridges.
