PRSSA earns top honors at Paper Anvil Awards

 The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter took home top honors at the Paper Anvil Awards Jan. 23, earning Best of Show and nine other recognitions for the chapter’s public relations work in 2018.

 The College of Journalism and Mass Communication’s National Organ Donor Awareness Competition and Bateman team members were also in attendance. Together, students were recognized for their community-centered campaigns involving organ donation, childhood cancer awareness, Huskers Helping Huskers Pantry+ and professional development.

 “We’re so thankful for the supportive faculty members, alumni and UNL community members who have helped us achieve our goals,” Jemalyn Griffin, PRSSA faculty advisor, said. “I am excited to serve as the new faculty advisor in 2019 and continue PRSSA’s tradition of serving the community while providing our students with the opportunity to excel.”
