Name a person who helped you be successful at Nebraska and how:
I can't just pick one! Jill Arth, Kelli Britten, and Dane Kiambi. They were always very supportive throughout my academic career, helped me figure out what I wanted to do after graduation, and listened to me when I needed someone to talk to about the stress of college/finding a job after graduation.
Where are you currently working and what are you doing?
I am currently working at the advertising agency, Intouch Group. I work as a marketing coordinator on the account services team. We are an agency focused on the pharmaceutical industry.
What was your first job postgrad and how do you think it helped you grow in your career?
I am currently in my first job postgrad at Intouch Group. I think it has helped me grow in my career as this is my first full time position. I have gained more confidence in talking with our clients and ensuring that I am doing my part otherwise I will be letting my team down.
What is one CoJMC class that impacted your current career?
My capstone class, Campaigns impacted my current career. This class really gave us responsibility to build a campaign from start to finish and that is really what you see when you work at an advertising agency so it was great experience.

the support I felt as a student and as an Alumni! I have been in New York for less then two months and I have already attended an alumni event and I plan to attend another one this fall.
Are you currently working on any special projects?
I am working on a lot of website/digital work for our clients at work.
Any funky talents or hobbies? Life changing experiences?
I went to Morocco after I graduated in May and it was an amazing experience. The country was so beautiful and culturally diverse.
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A movie star or singer!
What would you say is the most important skill or quality to have "out in the real world"?
I think the most important quality to have is to accept everyone for who they are and not judge people. I have learned wherever you go you are going ot meet people from all over and of different backgroudns. I think you can always find a way to relate to thme and to build some common ground
Why should Nebraska students enroll in CoJMC courses?
Nebraska students should enroll in CoJMC courses because the information you learn is very useful espcially if you want to work in advertising. I find myself referring back to hwat I learned in my classes daily. Also , the professors really care about you and the college has a very close knit feel that ensures your success.
What advice do you have for current students, prospective students?
Intern as much as possible! It is so important to have experience and a strong resume if you want to get a job in advertising/public relations after graduation.
