Huskers receive AAF Nebraska scholarships

The UNL College of Journalism and Mass Communications is pleased to announce that two of its students have been selected as scholarship winners by the American Advertising Federation  Nebraska.

Paige Brophy and Emily Bray were chosen for their outstanding academics, personal excellence and AAF Nebraska engagement. Each will receive a $1,500 scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year. 

Paige Brophy is a junior advertising and public relations major from Lincoln, Nebraska. Emily Bray is a senior advertising and public relations and graphic design double major from Lincoln, Nebraska. 

"We are thrilled that Paige and Emily have been recognized for their achievements and dedication to their education," said Shari Veil, dean of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. "We congratulate them on this well-deserved honor and look forward to seeing their impact on the advertising industry."

The AAF Nebraska Board of Directors congratulated both Paige and Emily on their achievements and will invite them to a breakfast and program in mid-August. The scholarship winners will have the opportunity to tour advertising agencies throughout Omaha as part of a day of special activities.
