What does graduating from Nebraska mean to you?

Graduating from Nebraska means a lot for me because I grew up here. It will be my forever home. I was nervous about my decision coming here 4 years ago because I knew so many other kids going here being-instate. But 4 years later, I can confidently say this was one of the best decisions in my life because of the amazing relationships and communities I've been a part of.

As you think about graduating from Nebraska, please share any transformational moments that helped to shape who you are or what you will do going forward:

My greek life experience through the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity was a transformational experience for me and really shaped my college experience. It was my first involvement in college, and from there I was able to branch out more. My fraternity brothers encouraged me to get involved in other organizations at Nebraska, and that support made me a campus leader and a overall better person in life.

What were you involved in at CoJMC and UNL?

Exploring a new city and learning what I want to do in sports.

Who helped you throughout your time as a Husker that you'd like to thank?

Thank you to Michael Ilg, who is a 2023 Husker Alum. Michael was a former fraternity brother and was the one who recruited me into Pi Kappa Alpha. He was an amazing mentor during my time here and helped me make the most of it. Even though he's at Law School now at Vanderbilt, I will always be grateful for the confidence and support Michael instilled in me early on in my college journey.

What is the best thing about being a Husker?

The people.
