The College of Journalism and Mass Communications has recently selected its new cohort of peer mentors for the 2023-2024 school year.
During the First Year Experience class, a required course for all first-semester students in the college, students are assigned to a peer mentor. Mentors offer advice on topics they wish they had known during their first year of college to help new students build relationships and navigate college successfully.
“This year’s peer mentor cohort is a group of awesome student leaders and I could not be more excited for our incoming first-year students to meet them this fall,” Peer mentor program coordinator, Bridgett Grant said.
The 2023-2024 peer mentors are listed alphabetically by hometown, with their name, year in school and major(s):
Nebraska
