Junior advertising and public relations and communication studies double major, Emily Conard, will receive the Roy and Catherine Yaley Student Leadership Award from the Nebraska Alumni Association. The award will be presented at the Cornhusker Experience Gala hosted by the Student Alumni Association on April 15 at the Nebraska Champions Club.
The Roy and Catherine Yaley Student Leadership Award is named in memory of a former alumni association president and his wife. The award recognizes a student who has made a significant contribution of time, talent and leadership to the Nebraska Alumni Association through one of its student programs.
Conard was selected for her involvement on campus and in the community, including her service on the Student Alumni Association Board of Directors and participation in the Women’s Leadership Network. Conard is originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin.
