Thursday, March 2, 2023 - 3:30pm

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's College of Journalism and Mass Communications is proud to announce Victoria Baker as the January Student of the Month. Baker, a senior broadcasting major from Papillion, Nebraska, was recognized for her outstanding support of fellow students.

Assistant Professor Chris Graves said in her nomination, “Victoria is amazing, big-hearted, and a go-getter. Anyone would be better for calling her a friend and having her on their side. As a professor and alum, I am proud of her and how she represents CoJMC values."

The CoJMC Student Advisory Board selects students of the month based on the kudos they have received during the previous month. Award winners can select from among three prizes, including a college t-shirt, a Starbucks gift card or lunch with CoJMC Dean Shari Veil.

To nominate students for Student of the Month, recognize their commitment to college values by giving them Kudos. All kudos recipients receive an email notification and certificate acknowledging their contributions to the CoJMC community.
