Name a person who helped you be successful at Nebraska and how:

My support system of close friends and family!

Where are you currently working and what are you doing?

I am working for LovelySkin in Omaha as a Marketing Specialist. I typically do a lot of graphic design work as well as creating local marketing strategies for their retail store, clinic, and spa.

What was your first job postgrad and how do you think it helped you grow in your career?

My job here at LovelySkin is my first job post-grad. I am learning a lot and know it will set me up with skills and industry knowledge for the future.

What is one CoJMC class that impacted your current career?

My (Art Design?) class was super important in building my skills of creating a campaign, understanding consistency in various design elements in a campaign, and making sure these elements not only look good but make sense for our overall goal.

Fill in the blank: "The best thing about being a Husker is ___________________."

Husker Pride.

Are you currently working on any special projects?

During this time of the year, most of the things I work on are short term projects at this time. Once the end of year starts to come, there will be lot of strategy planning for ideas and goals of the upcoming year.

Any funky talents or hobbies? Life changing experiences?

I'm not sure this counts as a hobby? but I really enjoy learning about the history of music. I also love plants, being outside, and traveling.

Have you completed any other degrees postgraduate? If so, where, when and path of study:

No

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A fashion designer

What would you say is the most important skill or quality to have "out in the real world"?

Ambition

Why should Nebraska students enroll in CoJMC courses?

It gives you an interesting one-up when applying to jobs compared to those who just got a marketing or business degree (sorry COB, still love you)

What advice do you have for current students, prospective students?

Utilize your college's clubs and have passion for your classes. I am not sure I got all i could from CoJMC because I didn't reach out to try to be involved or have those networking opportunities.
