In line with the wishes of the donors, scholarships and fellowships for graduate students in journalism and mass communications are intended to encourage high quality scholarship. They are awarded by vote of the college’s graduate policies & procedures committee to worthy students on the basis of records of good scholarship plus good academic and professional promise. They are not granted solely on the basis of financial need. You must have an approved thesis or professional project proposal on file to be eligible for this award.
Fall term priority deadline: November 15.
Spring term priority deadline: March 30.
