Throughout her career, Marylou has interviewed some of the most iconic figures in the fashion world and has built a reputation as a respected journalist with a keen eye for style.

Marylou moved to New York City in 1961, but spent a portion of the 1960s and 1970s living in Los Angeles, where she worked as a writer for the LA Times and McCall's sportwear. She also worked as a fashion writer for the Des Moines Register and the Chicago Tribune. Her time as a journalist has given her the opportunity to interview Christian Dior in 1957, Coco Chanel at her atelier, and many other legends in the fashion world.
