           Ryan Schreurs always knew he loved sports, but he never expected to attend 50 home baseball games in Lincoln. This summer, Schreurs had the opportunity to intern with a local sports team—the Lincoln Saltdogs.

Advertising and Public Relations alumna does something new with social media

Logan John knew next to nothing about her major before choosing it. The 2018 alumna chose advertising and public relations because it sounded cool. She knew she was good at writing, but was unsure how to make a career out of it. But when she was pushed to the limit in her creative concept class, she knew she had chosen the right major.

ADPR 489 campaigns capstone course has seniors impacting Lincoln

 Convincing real-world organizations to partner with a bunch of young, inexperienced college students for business is no easy task. Associate Professor Michelle Hassler realized this in 2017 when trying to develop ideas for courses that could give UNL students hands-on experience with nonprofit groups. But one local nonprofit association was receptive of the idea and saw potential in teaming with the university to gain credibility.

PRSSA, Huskers Helping Huskers Pantry+ partner to “Scare Off Hunger”

 PRSSA members tapped into the giving spirit of the Lincoln community in October by hosting "Scare Off Hunger," a donation campaign that raised nearly 600 food and hygiene items for Huskers Helping Huskers Pantry+.
