Senior photojournalism major takes on Capitol Hill during summer internship

For some, an internship is something to check off of a to-do list before graduation or something to fill space on a resume, but for Calla Kessler, it was an opportunity to experience her dream job. In November, Kessler was given the news that she would be moving to Washington D.C. for the summer.

CoJMC alumna launches new student organization

Molly Chapple, a College of Journalism and Mass Communications alumna and graduate student, has started an organization aimed at empowering women in Lincoln.

The organization, called Unleash Strong Women, will raise funds and collect feminine hygiene products for poor and homeless women in Lincoln. The products will be donated to the People’s City Mission.
