Three students in the UNL College of Journalism and Mass Communications were chosen as Clifton Strengths Institute coaches for the 2022-2023 academic year. They will join 42 other undergraduate students from across campus and returning coaches to mentor about 1,000 students enrolled in a College of Business class, Professional Enhancement: Investing in Strengths.

The coaches are Jacob Vanderford, a sophomore sports media and communication and music double major from Lincoln, Naomi Delkamiller, a freshman journalism and advertising and public relations double major from Omaha and Haedyn Jorgenson, a freshman advertising and public relations major from Council Bluffs.

The Clifton Strengths Institute helps students stretch their strengths through professional and leadership development using the application of strengths-based sciences. Students identify and maximize their talents to help Nebraska, the nation and the world develop economic growth and prosperity. The institute proudly serves as a national model for other organizations to learn to recognize individual potential and develop leaders who build and strengthen businesses and create more great jobs and lives.
