Zach Wendling ('23) was named Outstanding Young Nebraska Journalist for 2026 at the annual Nebraska Press Association Awards. He also placed first in explanatory journalism for reporting on medical cannabis. Congrats, Zach!
Sam Hoiberg ('25) was named a first-team Academic All-American by the College Sports Communicators and is the first Husker men’s basketball player to earn first-team Academic All-America honors since Shavon Shields in 2015 and 2016. Congrats, Sam!
