Sally Bunnell is launching her new app Navi Savi  in Omaha at the College World Series. This new travel app brings together businesses and travelers who are encouraged to share their expereiences through sharing unedited video clips. At this year's PRISM Awards hosted by the American Marketing Association of Lincoln, many CoJMC alumni were recognized:

Tyler Thomas (2010 ADPR) was named Marketer of the Year.

Kidglov was named Corporate Marketer of the Year. Lyn Wineman (1989 ADPR) is the founder and CEO of Kidglov.

Retired emeritus Amy Struthers was inducted into AMA Lincoln's Hall of Fame.

Jennifer Schultz (1997 News Ed, ADPR) was also inducted into AMA Lincoln's Hall of Fame.


Mitch Smith, Lauryn Higgins and recent grads Libby Seline and Grace Gorenflo all contributed to The New York Times coverage of the Covid-19 pandemic. Their contributions were recently awarded the Pulitzer Prize for public service.


Tia Newcomer was named CEO of CaringBridge.

"Newcomer’s strengths in healthcare leadership, digital technology, and her track record of building and creating great cultures and purpose-driven brands will help take CaringBridge to the next stage of growth, continuing to build on the vision of a world where no one goes on a health journey alone."


Angie Klein was named CEO of Visible, she'll lead the company as it continues to grow with the expansion of Verizon's brand portofolio.

"Previously as SVP of Consumer Segment Marketing, Klein led value proposition development and pricing across the Verizon consumer postpaid and prepaid mobile businesses, as well as consumer home services including Verizon Fios and 5G Home."


Paige Dimakos was profiled in the summer issue of the Nebraska Quarterly

"In 2018, The Draft Network, a new website dedicated to NFL Draft coverage, stats and potential picks, offered her the COO job. She accepted, and in November of 2020, was promoted to CEO."


Chris Pankonin achieved his goal of working in the NBA as, he started his role as Game Director/Producer for the Utah Jazz.
