Fall 2022 Checkout Room Hours and Rules

The CoJMC Checkout Room will open with regular hours on Monday, Aug. 29, 2022. Students can make an appointment to access the checkout room Aug. 22-26 by texting 402-413-9660

The CoJMC Checkout Room provides students with access to a wide variety of equipment for media production including cameras, video cameras, tripods, lights, gimbals and much, much more. Use of the checkout room is free to all CoJMC students. This fall, students can check out equipment in Room 42, Andersen Hall, in the Agency on the third floor of the Lincoln Children’s Museum or through a virtual zoom room (text 402-413-9660 for link). Equipment checked out using the zoom checkout room, will be placed in a locker in Andersen Hall and the locker code will be emailed to the student. 

All patrons must comply with the checkout room rules. Students may be subject to fines, fees and student account holds for failure to comply with the rules.

Items will be placed in a locker and the code emailed to the patron.  

 

During the first 12 weeks fo the fall semester, all checkouts will be for 2 business days. During the last 3 weeks of the semester, all checkouts will be for 1 business day. Equipment is due by 5 p.m. central time on the due date.
