4 alumni selected for International Advisory Council

The Nebraska Alumni Association announced the selection of nine individuals to the International Alumni Network Advisory Council. Four of the inducted members are College of Journalism and Mass Communications alumni. 

CoJMC International Advisory Council members are listed below by last name with their graduation year and current professional role(s): 

Mia Azizah (‘20) 

  • Communications Project Manager, U.S. Global Leadership Coalition 

 

Daniel Charleston (‘77) 

  • Retired; Former CEO, DMS Organization

 

Margaret Nongo-Okojokwu (‘22) 

  • Communications and Events Specialist, University of Nebraska-Lincoln; Adjunct Faculty, Nebraska Wesleyan University

 

Jay (Jia Yung) Tan 

  • Senior Personal Banker, Union Bank & Trust

The International Alumni Network Advisory Council will guide the network in creating a global community that empowers and supports international students and alumni affiliated with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to thrive personally and professionally. The group aspires to build community where shared experiences, values and the spirit of Husker pride transcend cultural differences and geographical gaps.

The advisory council meets once per month and provides guidance to the International Alumni Network. You can learn more about the network here.
