Twenty students were selected for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's 2025 National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) team.

Each year, a corporate sponsor provides a brief that outlines the history of its product and presents the company’s current marketing challenge. This year’s client is AT&T.

Students start their research during the second half of the fall 2024 semester. Throughout the spring semester, they identify problem areas and create an integrated campaign for the client.

In April, the team will pitch their campaign to a panel of district judges in Kansas City, Missouri. Judging is conducted by professionals in the advertising, marketing and communications industry. If they place first, they’ll advance to the semi-finals to compete for one of eight national finalist spots.

The UNL NSAC team advisers are Assistant Professor of Practice Brian Hubbard and Lecturer Diane Krajicek. Liz Paul, director of global insights at The Clorox Company, also shared her expertise with the team while visiting campus as the Dick Worick Visiting Professor in Market Research.
