Tony Sattler is the executive vice president and director of experience & insight at Swanson Russell, where he leads a team of analysts and strategists in leveraging data, insights, and innovative customer experience strategies to build trust in clients' brands and accelerate business growth. Sattler is also responsible for educating agency employees on emerging trends and technologies, as well as managing and professionally developing the digital strategy, analytics, market research, and UX teams. With over 20 years of experience in digital marketing, analytics, and omni-channel marketing, Sattler has helped create world-class experiences for a variety of well-known brands.
Sattler's journey at Swanson Russell began in September 2006, and he has held several key roles, including project manager, account manager, interactive strategy manager, and vice president of digital strategy. He became the executive vice president and director of experience & insight in October 2020. In his previous role as vice president of digital strategy, Sattler led and developed the digital strategy, project management, ad operations, production, and analytics teams, building the agency's digital capabilities and services.
Before joining Swanson Russell, Sattler was an account executive at SKAR Advertising from February 2004 to September 2006, where he managed web-based accounts and coordinated new business initiatives. He also worked as an advertising consultant for the Lincoln Journal Star from December 2003 to February 2004, coordinating an account list as an outside sales consultant and new business builder.
Sattler holds a Bachelor of Journalism in journalism and mass communication from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Production and Technology in music production and technology from Berklee College of Music.
