Sara Wischhof is a Lincoln native with a deep passion for serving her community. She graduated from Lincoln East High School and earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Wischhof is an active member of the Lincoln Chapter of the American Marketing Association.

Her commitment to community service is reflected in her involvement in various organizations and initiatives. Wischhof serves as the marketing committee chair for Fresh Start, teaches Junior Achievement, and is the vice president of the East High School Booster Board. She also serves on the board of directors for Eastridge Pool, is a small group leader for confirmation at Sheridan Lutheran Church, and is a member of the Inspire Advisory Board. Additionally, Wischhof contributes to the Diversity & Inclusion Task Force at Union Bank & Trust (UBT).

Wischhof has been married to her husband, Nick, for 18 years, and they have two daughters, Avari (17) and Kayla (13). Their family also includes three beloved pets: Jax, Millie, and Mocha. Wischhof's dedication to her family and community underscores her commitment to making a positive impact in Lincoln.
