Rhett McClure is an accomplished video editor, videographer and producer with over two decades of experience in the industry. He is the video editor, videographer, and captain creative at VIZZYNESS LLC, where, since 2017, he has played multiple roles, including producer, editor, photographer, and digital imaging technician (DIT). Rhett is highly skilled with Adobe Creative Cloud, Panasonic cameras, and is Drone Part107 certified.
As the former owner and co-producer of AB PRODUCTIONS, Rhett has created award-winning short films like "Second Words," "A Game On The Line," and "Blind Hole." His 4K indie comedy feature "TRUNK'D," starring notable comedians like Dan Cummins and Eddie Pepitone, premiered internationally and received numerous awards at film festivals. His drone work is featured in the upcoming water rights documentary, "Battle of Platte River."
Throughout his career, Rhett has produced and edited for companies like Firespring and Snitily Carr, managing all aspects of video production from filming to post-production. His freelance work has included roles as a photo editor for Zoo.com/HowStuffWorks, further showcasing his versatility.
Rhett is also the president of Nebraska Independent Film Projects, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a DIY approach to filmmaking. His leadership has been key in advancing the organization’s mission since 2004. Additionally, he has served on the board of the Nebraska Film Association, contributing to the growth of Nebraska’s film and media production industry.
Rhett’s expertise extends to directing films, commercials and live events, as well as voicing and recording voice-over talent. He is a seasoned cameraperson and an advanced user of After Effects since 1999. Known for his meticulous planning and backup strategies, Rhett is a creative force dedicated to delivering high-quality video content.
