Peter Worth joined the College of Journalism and Mass Communications as a professional-in-residence for Buoy during the fall 2025 semester.

Peter has spent nearly 20 years bringing ideas to life as a creative professional. He has been at Swanson Russell for the past decade and currently in a Senior Art Director role. He leads the visual direction of campaigns, working with copywriters, designers, strategists, and account teams to turn big ideas into engaging work across digital, print, video, experiential, and social platforms.

Peter is a graduate of the University of Nebraska’s Art & Art History program (2009).

Beyond the office, Peter is passionate about art in all forms — both creating and collecting — and loves staying active through cycling, kayaking, hockey, and fishing. He’s also always up for traveling, exploring, and trying something new.
