Kern Dant is the general manager of KLKN-TV in Lincoln, Nebraska, a role he has held since 2019. With over two decades of experience in television and sales, Kern has held various key positions across the United States. Before joining KLKN-TV, he served as the general sales manager at WMC-TV in Memphis, Tennessee from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, he was the general sales manager at WDTN/WBDT-TV (Lin) in Dayton, Ohio from 2014 to 2016, and the local sales manager at KRQE NEWS 13/KASA FOX 2 (Lin) in Albuquerque, New Mexico from 2012 to 2014.

Kern's extensive experience also includes serving as the director of sales at KWBQ-TV KASY-TV (Acme/Lin) in Albuquerque from 2006 to 2012. He began his career as an account executive at KMCI in Kansas City, Missouri, from 2004 to 2006, at Y-98 in Saint Louis, Missouri, from 2003 to 2004, and at KWBP (WB32) in Portland, Oregon, from 2001 to 2003.

Kern earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2001. His broad experience and leadership in the industry have significantly contributed to his role at KLKN-TV, driving growth and success for the station.
