Jill Lamkins is a 2023 University of Nebraska Lincoln’s College of Journalism and Mass Communications graduate. 

Upon graduation, she joined KMTV 3 News Now in Omaha, Nebraska as a Multimedia Journalist. 

In college, she interned at KLKN Channel 8 in Lincoln and had various roles during her time a part of Nebraska Nightly. 

As a multimedia journalist at KMTV, Jill serves as the morning reporter covering communities across the Omaha metro with an emphasis on Northwest Omaha. She also anchors the 10 pm newscast on Sundays. 

Jill was a four-year University of Nebraska Lincoln’s Scarlets Dance Team member. She was also a member of the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta. Jill is from Apple Valley, Minnesota. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, working out and spending time with friends and family.
