Jamdan Clang is a part-time lecturer in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, leveraging his expertise in digital communication, technology management, and process improvement. He holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations and a master’s degree in integrated media communications, both from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During his academic career, he was inducted into Kappa Tau Alpha, the Will Owen Jones Chapter, for excellence in journalism and mass communications.
In his full-time role, Clang serves as the data and technology manager for the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, where he oversees statewide digital initiatives and manages multiple Nebraska state government websites. His work focuses on creating innovative online solutions, improving processes, and supporting communication and information management for federal and state grant programs.
Previously, as website manager for the department, Clang played a key role in redesigning and managing nine government websites, enhancing their functionality to meet departmental needs. His professional experience reflects a strong commitment to technology-driven solutions and effective communication strategies that serve public and organizational goals.
