I graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications, where I studied advertising and public relations and sports media and communication. During my time at the college, I was able to gain hands-on experience in social media, strategic communications and storytelling. During my time at the college, I served as a student ambassador, connecting with prospective students and families through tours, recruitment events and workshops. I also gained real-world agency experience through Buoy Student Agency and Jacht Agency through the College of Journalism, working with a wide variety of clients on social media strategy, content creation, campaign planning and account management. These experiences truly were a wonderful stepping stone into my current position as a Social Media Coordinator at Nebraska Public Media. In my current role, I assist in managing the station's presence across multiple social media platforms, schedule posts, respond to comments and messages via social media, develop content strategies, promote new programming, series and events, cover live events through social media and implement vertical video strategies.

My internship experience spans from social media, sports marketing, strategic communications and sports writing. While studying at University of Nebraska-Lincoln's College of Journalism and Mass Communications, I gained hands-on experience through roles on campus through Buoy and Jacht, but was able to apply my knowledge at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Athletic Department, Junior Achievement of Lincoln, Casey's, NBC Sports and Nebraska Public Media.

I studied advertising and public relations and sports media and communication at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications and graduated in May 2025.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to concerts and enjoying live music in Lincoln, Omaha and beyond. I'm also an avid reader and enjoy being part of a book club where we do chat books, but that ends up being about 20% of our conversation. I love spending time outside, exploring new places and enjoying nature. I also recently got a record player, so I'm a big fan of vinyl shopping.
