Ethan Rowley is the director of membership at the Nebraska Alumni Association, a role he has held since August 2019. In this position, he oversees membership programs and initiatives, working to engage and support the alumni community of the University of Nebraska.

Prior to joining the Nebraska Alumni Association, Rowley served as the assistant director of fan experience & promotions at The Ohio State University Athletic Department from March 2016 to August 2019. In this role, he was responsible for enhancing the game day experience for fans and promoting athletic events.

Rowley has extensive experience with the University of Nebraska Athletic Department, where he worked for nearly eight years. His roles included director of fan experience from October 2011 to August 2015, assistant director of athletic marketing from October 2009 to October 2011, and marketing associate from October 2007 to October 2009. During his tenure, he developed and implemented marketing strategies to boost fan engagement and attendance at athletic events.

Rowley holds a Master of Arts in Marketing, Communications, and Advertising from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, completed in 2013. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with an emphasis on Fitness & Sports Management from Doane University in 2005, graduating summa cum laude. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Journalism in Advertising with a minor in History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he graduated with honors and distinction in 2003.

Rowley's expertise lies in marketing, fan engagement, and alumni relations, and he is dedicated to fostering strong connections between the University of Nebraska and its alumni.
