David Thiemann is a seasoned marketing professional with a robust background in sales, marketing and event management. With decades of experience, Thiemann has consistently demonstrated his ability to create innovative strategies that drive business growth and community engagement.
Currently, Thiemann serves as the Digital Marketing and Events Manager for Ehrlich Motors, which includes Toyota of Laramie and Trailer Works of Laramie. In this role, he leads the digital strategy, brand development, and community engagement initiatives for both dealerships, aligning sales, service, and event marketing efforts to drive measurable growth and strengthen regional brand presence. In addition, Thiemann serves as a marketing consultant for several Northern Colorado dealerships representing Chevrolet, Cadillac, Jeep, and Kia brands, providing strategic guidance across digital advertising, SEO, event marketing, and customer acquisition initiatives.
In addition to his dealership leadership and consulting work, Thiemann serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. His commitment to education extends to his previous position as director of sales and marketing at the Daily Nebraskan, where he developed and implemented innovative sales and marketing strategies and recruited students to serve local and national clients.
Thiemann's career includes significant roles such as advertising director at the Greeley Tribune in Colorado, where he managed B2B and consumer marketing initiatives, and marketing, new business and event manager at LJS Media Group in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he created consumer and B2B growth strategies. His experience also encompasses positions such as customer marketing manager at Swift Communications in Windsor, Colorado, and director of sales and marketing at Greeley Publishing Company in Colorado.
Earlier in his career, Thiemann served as national sales director at the Denver Newspaper Agency in Colorado, ad director and marketing director at The Toledo Blade in Ohio, and retail sales manager at The Des Moines Register in Iowa. His extensive background in media management is further solidified by his completion of the Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
Thiemann holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and marketing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he was an active member of the Cornhusker Marching Band and University Singers. His dedication to fostering talent and driving business success is evident in his numerous roles and achievements throughout his career.
