Abby Barmore began her journey at HuskerOnline as an intern in the summer of 2021. After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Journalism, she joined HuskerOnline as a staff writer. A Hearst Journalism Award winner, Barmore introduced volleyball coverage to HuskerOnline during her internship. In addition to volleyball, she covers Nebraska softball, football, recruiting, and women's athletics.

Before working at HuskerOnline, Barmore wrote for the Omaha World-Herald and the Daily Nebraskan, gaining valuable experience in sports journalism. Her current role at On3.com as a staff writer at HuskerOnline.com has her in charge of Nebraska volleyball coverage while also contributing to football, baseball, and recruiting coverage.
