High School Student Media Day
You have been invited to our brand-new event: High School Media Day! The College of Journalism and Mass Communications is hosting two in-person, multi-media production events. At this event, a full scale Media Day for Lincoln area High School Basketball teams will be held at the college. In addition to the basketball teams, high school journalism/media students have the opportunity to produce media content and experience what a Media Day looks like firsthand. The event dates are scheduled for Tuesday, November 12 (Boys Basketball) and Thursday, November 14 (Girls Basketball). Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about careers in media, and to connect with current students, faculty and staff!
At this event you will:
- Experience multiple media day stations including press conferences, interviews, photos, radio and more
- Interact with athletes, coaches and media students in a real world situation
- Create media content previewing the upcoming season for High School Basketball in Nebraska
- Meet and network with CoJMC students, faculty and staff
Event details:
Date: Tuesday, November 12 and Thursday, November 14 2024
Time: Check-in at 3 p.m., event begins at 3:30 p.m.
Event will conclude around 6 p.m.
