Thursday, January 21, 2021 - 3:00pm

Two College of Journalism and Mass Communications seniors were chosen to partake in the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) Most Promising Multicultural Student program that took place Jan. 26 - 29, 2021.

Senior advertising and public relations and broadcasting double major Ann Milroy and senior advertising and public relations major Kyla Jackson were two of the 50 students chosen for this year’s class.

During the four day conference, Milroy and Jackson had opportunities to further their professional development and work on their personal branding.

They got to know some of the industry’s top creatives from all across the country. Leading agencies hold the program in high regard, and use it as an opportunity to recruit their entry-level talent.

The Most Promising Multicultural Student program is entering its 25th year. It is the main initiative at AAF’s Mosaic Center, which was created to encourage the industry to improve their diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
