Sunday, February 27, 2022 - 8:15am

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications had a strong presence at the 2022 Nebraska Advertising Awards on Feb. 18.

Students at the CoJMC brought home eight silver and two gold and the best in show under the student category.

Each year, the Nebraska Advertising Awards recognize the best and brightest ads and campaigns created by Nebraska businesses and advertising agencies. American Advertising Federation Omaha (AAF Omaha) and American Advertising Federation Lincoln (AAF Lincoln) members participate in this prestigious event.

Created as an opportunity to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising, the American Advertising Awards have become the industry’s largest and most respected competition.

The local awards are the first of the three-tier, national competition. In the second tier, local winners compete against other winners in 14 district competitions held concurrently across the country. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the American Advertising Awards.

Below is the full list of the CoJMC student winners. The college congratulates these students on their award-winning projects.
