The Carnegie-Knight News21 Program at Arizona State University won a People’s Voice Webby Award for “America After Roe.” Three Huskers were involved in the 2023 project: Naomi Delkamiller, a junior journalism and advertising and public relations major from Omaha and alumni Jenna Ebbers (‘23) of Cambridge and Joseph Zakaria (‘22) of Lincoln.

As a finalist, ‘America After Roe’ is recognized by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences as one of the five best in the world in the Student Video category. The project is among the top 12% of the 13,000 projects entered.

‘America After Roe’ examines the impacts of the reversal of Roe v. Wade and how the monumental decision has gone beyond abortion bans to more broadly affect health care, culture, policy and people.
