Keri Mesropov, 1992 graduate and president and chief talent officer, TRG Arts, received the 2022 Women of Courage, Character, and Commitment award. This award, which is presented by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Women’s Center, recognizes students, faculty or staff who have made a positive impact through professional, personal, mentoring or peer relationships.
Mesropov is the President and Chief Talent Officer of TRG Arts and has played a tremendous role in the College of Journalism and Mass Communication’s Experience Lab. The Experience Lab, which opened in Fall 2021, helps students within the College of Journalism and Mass Communications learn more about working in an agency setting. Jemalyn Griffin, co-director of the Experience Lab, works directly with Keri as a client and professional-in-residence.
“Keri’s energetic spirit is contagious and her passion for mentoring students is evident in her continuous involvement with Jacht and the Experience Lab," said Griffin. "As a professional expert in strategic planning, she goes above-and-beyond to serve our college and the entire UNL community.”
In her role at TRG Arts, Mesropov is responsible for the scouting, recruitment, development and retention of the firm’s talent for all positions throughout the global company. Mesropov has brought these skills and passion for professional development to the Experience Lab, which has greatly impacted the student experience. Mesropov is committed to student connections, confidence, and intelligence as leaders.
Mesropov was recognized for her commitment to students and contributions to the campus community at UNL’s Women's History Month Celebration on March 24.
