Jesse Boeckermann '04 is currently serving as Western Region Director of Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte in Asheville, North Carolina, a nonprofit organization serving people in need in western North Carolina. Boeckermann spent eight years as a professional broadcaster in radio and television news and sports in Nebraska, West Virginia, and Virgina after graduating with a degree in broadcasting from the College of Journalism and Mass Communications in 2004. He transitioned into working for nonprofit organizations, serving three years as the Program Director of a seasonal homeless shelter in Charlottesville, Virginia before moving to Asheville, North Carolina in 2015.
