The college welcomed many members of our alumni family back to campus for a Homecoming weekend of celebration and reunion.
We kicked off Homecoming Week with a campus-wide office door decorating contest. Faculty, staff and student workers decorated their doors to match the 2025 Homecoming theme "Scarlet City."

Alex Fernando, CoJMC’s assistant director of recruitment, won the single door/cubicle category for his Homecoming decorations.

We also celebrated CoJMC senior and Homecoming royalty finalist Josh Warner. Warner is a sports media & communication and advertising & public relations double major from Salina, Kansas.

On Thursday, our Comprehensive Campaign Committee held its annual in-person meeting and our Dean's Advisory Board met Friday morning.

On Friday night, we hosted our homecoming celebration at Andersen Hall, with a photo booth and tours of the college. Members of our alumni family caught up, reconnected and tested their J School knowledge with a trivia contest.

On Homecoming Saturday, CoJMC students streamed the Huskers vs. Michigan State on KRNU2.

We're grateful to our alumni community, who continue to support us in our mission of preparing the next generation of journalists and communicators. We look forward to more opportunities to reminisce, collaborate and build lasting connections.
