The Checkout Room in Andersen Hall (Room 42, Basement) is your go-to spot for free media production equipment, including cameras, video cameras, lights, and more! Starting Tuesday, Sept. 3, regular hours will be Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can also request equipment through our Virtual Checkout Room during these hours by emailing cojmc.checkout.room@unl.edu.
If you request equipment virtually, it will be placed in a locker, and you'll receive the combination via email, allowing you to pick it up at your convenience. Equipment can be checked out for two business days, with renewals available if there's no waitlist. Please note that late returns will result in a $10 per day fine.
The Checkout Room will be open by appointment only during the first week of classes. To schedule an appointment, email us at cojmc.checkout.room@unl.edu.
