Four earn University Service Awards

Four faculty members in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications earned University Service Awards in 2022. Recipients were honored during the Employee Service Awards ceremony on Sept. 28 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. The CoJMC service award recipients are:

  • Laurie Thomas Lee, professor of broadcasting, 30 years
  • Frauke Hachtmann, professor of advertising and public relations, 25 years
  • Bryan Wang, associate professor of advertising and public relations, 10 years

  • John Shrader, associate professor of sports media and communications, 5 years

The Employee Service Awards were part of a celebratory day that featured Chancellor Ronnie Green’s State of Our University Address and an employee cook-out catered by Dining Services.
