Five recent CoJMC graduates join the Young Alumni Academy

Five recent College of Journalism and Mass Communications graduates were selected to participate in the 2021-2022 Young Alumni Academy, hosted by the Nebraska Alumni Association.  

Colby Dolan graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations. He resides in Kansas City, Missouri, and works as a motion designer at Barkley.  

Steven Mah is a 2018 graduate. He earned a bachelor’s degree with majors in journalism and advertising and public relations. He resides in Lincoln, Nebraska, and works as an account specialist at KidGlov.  

Courtney Strayer is a 2018 graduate. She earned a bachelor’s degree with a major in advertising and public relations. She resides in Lincoln, Nebraska, and works as an employer and campus relations coordinator for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  

Michael Wilson is a 2020 graduate with a master’s degree specializing in integrated media communication. He resides in Lincoln, Nebraska, and works as a coordinator of special events and programs for the Nebraska Association of Local Health Directors.  

Natalie Drozd graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in advertising and public relations, in 2020 with a master’s degree in integrated media communication and in 2021 with a graduate certificate in public relations and social media. She resides in Omaha, Nebraska, and works as an associate project manager at Mutual of Omaha.  

Founded in 2012, the Nebraska Young Alumni Academy is a professional and personal development program devoted to enhancing the connection between young alumni and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Read more about the 2021 Academy cohort here.
