CoJMC will recognize nine at the annual celebration of service

Nine members of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications community will be recognized at the annual Celebration of Service.

The event recognizes the talent and dedication of faculty and staff making important milestones in their service to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. This year’s CoJMC honorees are:

Mike Hanus, lecturer, 5 years Katie Krcmarik, assistant professor of practice, 5 years Matt Waite, professor of practice, 10 years Barney McCoy, professor, 15 years Susan Oestmann (not pictured), checkout room manager, 15 years Bruce Thorson, associate professor, 15 years Adam Wagler, associate professor and associate dean for academic programs, 15 years Trina Creighton, emeritus associate professor, 20 years Rick Alloway, associate professor, 35 years

The Celebration of Service is scheduled for 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Nov. 18, at the Coliseum on City Campus. Registration is required to attend.
