Name a person who helped you be successful at Nebraska.

Wow, so many. Trina Creighton- gave me all the confidence, honesty and coaching I needed to be successful on camera. Scott Winter- told me how to tell a great story and have confidence as a writer. Rick Alloway, taught me how to be a pro. Joe Starita- taught me how to push the limits and what it meant to be ethical.

Where are you currently working and what are you doing?

I am the Chief Operating Officer of The Draft Network. I am in charge of designing and implementing business operations, establishing policies that promote company culture and vision and overseeing operations of the company and the work of executives. I am also involved with a start-up called, DFND that is partnered with a NFL Superstar, but details to follow on that. SHHH.

Are you currently working on any special projects?

I am currently working on a big deal with Spotify and their Sports Podcasting Department as well as locking in our big partners for this year's upcoming NFL Draft.

What would you say is the most important skill or quality to have "out in the real world"?

Networking. Everything in the working world is about the relationships you have, period.

Why should Nebraska students enroll in CoJMC courses?

It's one of the best journalism colleges in the country. You enroll here to prepare yourself for the real world and establish the relationships that will take you there.

What advice do you have for current students, prospective students?

Do EVERYTHING! Seriously, try everything. You never know what you might end up falling in love with. Be open-minded and be kind. Just in general.
