Student Advisory Board

The board's primary purpose is advocate educational quality in the college. The board establishes and maintains open channels of communication with students in order to gather students’ opinions and concerns and to keep students informed about college issues.

The board ensures that the interests of students and their organizations are adequately represented in decisions about the programs and policies of the college. That may include appointing students to faculty committees within the college.

The board works to provide opportunities for formal and informal contact for all students with the college faculty and the professional community. The board assists the dean with special projects, including student-alumni relations. This includes, maintaining the board's website and assisting with J Days at the dean requests.
